Beautiful Garden Route
Tailor made tours around your time and budget – example of a 6 day Garden Route tour from Cape Town
Day 1
Let us tailor make an unforgettable trip to the Garden Route. An example of a 6 day trip below.
Cape Agulhas•the southern tip of Africa
Depart Cape Town by luxury vehicle and drive up the garden route. After travelling the plateau of expansive apple orchards in and around Grabouw, you drive through Hermanus and head towards Cape Agulhas where you will spend your first night.
Cape Agulhas, or where the two oceans meet, lies at the furthest tip of Africa, a region that includes the towns of Arniston, Bredardsdorp, L’Agulhas, napier, Elim and struisbaai. Historically the cape has been known to sailors as particularly hazardous, notorious for winter storms and huge rogue waves that can reach a spectacular height of 30 metres, so it’s no surprise that the coast is littered with wrecks or that the large red and white striped lighthouse was built as early as 1848 in an attempt to warn ships of the conflicting currents, and the extremely perilous waves that combine to make it the Cape of Storms. Technically speaking it is the southernmost point in the continent of Africa. You spend the night at Cape Agulhas country lodge.
Day 2 and 3
